Before You Buy
There is a relationship in this world that is like no other, the clothing manufacturer, the clothing store, the clothing consumer and the dry cleaner. The consumer purchases clothing, knowing that sooner or later an item is going to have to be either laundered at home or delivered to the dry cleaner. This trust in each other takes on a life of its own. If there is a break down in any of these trusts, it results in the consumer being unhappy.
The trust between the consumer and the dry cleaner is probably the hardest to keep on track, because purchasing and servicing are totally different. Until an item needs to be serviced, none of the flaws in that item will show.
Today, most of the manufacturers are doing a very good job of making garments. Every once in a while a manufacturer tries something new that just doesn't work as well as it should. We try to catch as many of these as we can, but sometimes we like yourselves don't always know what the results will be. If the care label of a garment is followed and a problem arises, what can be done? How does the next consumer find out? What if you're the next consumer? How do you know? The store is not going to tell you, because they don't know. The information is available to dry cleaners and the manufacturer, but only after many of these items have failed.
How would you like to be a more informed clothing consumer? I've always wanted to inform people about potential problems before the clothing is purchased. This could make life a little easier for both you and your dry cleaner. Your dry cleaner doesn't want problems anymore than you do.
My goal is to inform you as soon as I can about potential problems that we are seeing.
