Hangers - We recycle our hangers that are in good shape.
We use 18" hangers for most all of our shirts, blouses and sport
coats. The clothes hang better at the shoulders, with the extra
2" of width. We do use some of the smaller hangers for the petite
sizes. |

Plastic Dry Cleaning bags - We finally have
found a supplier that actually recycles the plastic bags. The bags are
sent back to the bag manufacturer, where they are re-melted and new bags are
made. The plastic bags have to be staple and paper free or they will
be rejected. |

Dry Cleaning Solvent - We recycle all of the
dry cleaning solvent that we use. We are continuously distilling the
solvent to remove the dirt that comes from the clothes and reusing it over
and over again. Through the use of recycling our solvent, we use only
15 gallons a month. Some of the 15 gallons goes out with the dirt that
we distilled out of the solvent. That solvent and dirt are taken away
by a licensed waste hauler, which then, distills the waste at a higher
temperature to recover more of the solvent then we are able to. That
solvent is then used for making other products. |

Computer Paper - How many times have you
printed a picture or a page, only to find out it wasn't quite right?
Computer reports generate a lot of paper that is used on one side. We
reuse the paper on the other side after the data is no longer useful.
We reuse it for smaller reports or test runs before printing a final picture
or page. |
